Earline Elizabeth Herbert Pentecost

Earline Pentecost, age 89, went home to be with the her Lord on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Pentecost was born on November 15, 1915, in Decatur, Alabama, to the late Andrew and T. Roxy Herbert.

She was a native of Decatur before moving to Bristol in 1947. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Pentecost was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Thomas Pentecost, Sr., two brothers, Grover and Nolan Herbert, and one sister, Gladys Cowan.

Funeral service will be held Friday, March 18, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Darrell Pickel and Rev. Bill Goforth officiating.

Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Booher, Jerry Hodge, Carl Nixon, and grandsons, Steve Pentecost, Bryan, and Michael Booher. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. David Thompson, Dr. Sue Prill, and James Shaver.
