Edith Estelle Keith of R.F.D. Keith Road, Walton, Oregon, passed away March 14, 1980 at the age of 71. She was born August 14, 1908 in Halsey, Oregon to pioneer parents, Robert Lee and Cora Bell (Tharp) Bilyeu. She married Lyall Keith on 24 Dec. 1930 in Linn Co., Oregon. Lyall preceeded her in death on February 9, 1970. She had lived in Oregon all of her life and for the past 40 years lived in the Walton area. She and her husband owned and operated a country store with two gas pumps near Walton which was called "The Keith Place." She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 13, Eugene. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Wayne (Ethel) Barber of Eugene; 2 brothers, Robert Dean Bilyeu of Halsey and Cecil Dewey Bilyeu of Harrisburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 18, 1980 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 3745 West 11th Avenue, Eugene, with Reverand Gordon Moritz of the American Missionary Fellowship of Harrisburg officiating with committal service and vault internment in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Halsey, Oregon. Visitation Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m. and Monday, 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
