Mrs. Thelma Brent Barnhart, 86, formerly of Caruthersville, died Dec. 19, 1994 at Lakeshore Heartland Nursing Home in Donaldson, Tenn. Born May 25, 1908 at Caruthersville, she was the daughter of Maurie and Fannie Jeffress Brent. She was a former employee of First State Bank. She was the widow of Floyd Barnhart and a member of Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church, PEO and Naomi Circle of the church.
She is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Keigley of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Dorothy Conn of Silver Springs, Md.; A special niece, Ann Holshouser of Nashville; A special grand niece, Lisa Holshouser; And several other nieces and nephews.
Services were Dec. 22 at 11 a.m. at Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church, the Rev. Jim Coats Sr. officiating, with burial in Maple Cemetery, Dean Funeral Home of Caruthersville in charge.
