Martha "Pattie" Bethea Braddy was born in March 1790 the daughter of Revolutionary War Patriot, John Bethea and Mary Nicholson Henigan. Wife of John Braddy. Parents of John B Braddy, Kittie Braddy, Harriet Braddy, Elizabeth Braddy, Lewton Capers Braddy, Tristram Bethea Braddy (Cathern Jane McKinnon), William Wightman Braddy (E A), and Robert Bruce Braddy (Flora Ann McKay). She died October 11th 1853 and was 63 years, 6 months old. She and others members of the BRADDY FAMILY are buried in the family plot in Sweet Swamp Cemetery in Dillon county South Carolina.
