Joel H. Johnson, 69, died December 27, 1996 in Sandy, Utah.

He was born March 22, 1927 in Castle Gate, Utah to Parley and Jennie Johnson.

He married Verna Fassio on June 7, 1950 in Price.

Joel worked in banking for 45 years and retired as vice president and general manager of Zion's Bank, Price branch. He was an avid Rotarian and a member of the LDS Church.

Joel is survived by his wife, Verna, of Price; a daughter, Jan (Jay) Bryner, of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren, Joshua, Jeni Jo, Jordan, and Jaden Bryner; his mother-in-law, Glenda "Grammy" Fassio; four brothers, Ron, Kay, Henderson, and Parley; and two sisters, Winnie Cook and Maude Stevens. He was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 6, 1997 in the Price Fifth Ward Chapel, 545 East 400 North, at 11 a.m. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and at the Church one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Price City Cemetery.
