Elizabeth Kennington Passes Away
On last Sunday morning at 10 o'clock a.m., Mrs. Elizabeth Kennington, wife of William H. Kennington, passed away, death being due to heart trouble. The deceased was 64 years old and had been ailing for the past number of years.
Mrs. Kennington was the mother of seven children, five boys and two girls all of whom survive her. They are Frank Kennington of Freedom, Sam Kennington of Etna, John Kennington of Boise, Hyrum Kennington Auburn, Ira of Great Falls, Mrs Julia Stoffers of Afton and Mrs Elizabeth Buckley of Logan. All being present during her illness and death, excepting Mrs Buckley who was unable to come.
The funeral services were held on Tuesday and conducted by the Bishopric. Consoling speeches were rendered, and an abundance of beautiful floral tributes presented as tokens of the high esteem in which she was held. Interment was made in the city cemetery.
Mrs Kennington was liked by all who knew her and in the Relief Society she was foremost in all its endeavors. The family has the heartfelt sympathy in this their sad hour of bereavement. - Kennington, Elizabeth (13 Jun 1913) Star Valley Independent
