HATTIE ANDERSON

Hattie Anderson, 96, of Texas City, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at Mainland Medical Center.
Ms. Anderson was born September 16, 1905 in Oakwood, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Texas City.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 25, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Dixon and Dr. Grayson Glass officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She is preceded in death by husband Charlie B. Anderson, two sons MJ Anderson and infant Richard, daughters Elizabeth Reed and Nell Webb.
Survivors include son Edward Anderson and wife Sue; daughters Adell Parkinson and husband James and Wanda Hare and husband Edward, all of Texas City; daughter-in-law Louise Anderson of Nacogdoches; twenty-two grandchildren: Ronnie Anderson, Dath Crain, Judy and Greg Reed, Sandra Webb-Elder, Sidney, John, Don, Gary, Larry, Rick and Tim Webb, Cheryl Clifford, Deborah Langford, Diane Young, Lynn Romine, Rita Ewton, James and David Hare, Janice Anderson, Cathleen Smith and Scott Anderson; numerous great, great-great, great-great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the owner and staff of Simple Pleasures Personal Care Home of Texas City for their care of our Mother in the past year.
