Otis A. Anderson, 70, Waterville, died Wednesday at Community Memorial Hospital, Marysville. He was born July 1, 1912, at Urbana, Mo., son of Frank and Nellie (Brammer) Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was retired several years. He had been employed by Marshall County.
He married Maxine Heath October 5, 1938, at Seneca.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine, of the home; five daughters, Hazel Worthington, St. Marys, Ruth Wilder, Blue Rapids, Maxine Plegge, Marysville, Marline McGrath and Gayle Link, both Clay Center; three sons, Jim Anderson, Barnes, Ralph Anderson, Topeka and Dean Anderson of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Knudsen, Blue Rapids and Mrs. Ruth Cloward, of Arizona; three brothers, Fred Anderson, Lewellen, Nebraska, Ed Anderson, Blue Rapids and Bill Anderson, of Oregon; 18 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Services were held Friday, March 18, 1983, at 10:00 a.m. in United Methodist Church with Rev. Wm. R. Stephens officiating. Mrs. C.H. Youngberg sang "One Day At a Time" and "How Great Thou Art" with Mrs. Wm. Bourne accompanying her. Pallbearers were T.J. Worthington, Paul Cassity, Bob Anderson, Teddy Wilder, Danny Wilder and Jeff Wilder. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery under direction of Youngberg Funeral Home.
