He was born in Canterbury, New Brunswick, the son of James and Theresa (Phillips) Walsh. He had lived most of his life in Bangor retiring 15 years ago from the employ of the city.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Anna Schoenart, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Smith, Bangor; three sons, James E., Bangor, Charles L., Hampden, and Edward Walsh, Winnipeg, Man.; a sister, Miss mary A. Walsh, Bangor, Bangor, 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Driscoll Funeral Home, 26 Cedar Street.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church.
