Hunt Services Are Held Wednesday

Richard Dale Hunt, 48, of route one, Davis, died Sunday, Jan. 4, in the Veterans Facilities at Sulphur. He was a heavy equipment operator, member of the First Baptist church, and veteran of World War II.

He was born in Davis on May 12, 1927, and was married to Elizabeth "Becky" Hendricks on May 22, 1948.

Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist church with Finis Steelman and Rev. Jim House officiating. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery, and Bahner Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

In addition to his wife, other survivors are two daughters, Vickie Dunlap of Vallejo, Calif., and Bridget Cearley of the home; a sister, Mrs. Carolyn Larson of Long Beach, Calif., two brothers, J. T. Hunt of Davis and Alvin Hunt of Morenci, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Joe Ray Primrose, Buddy Mackey, Jim Saylor, Ross Walters, Charlie Primrose, and Jimmie Primrose.
