FINAL RITES FOR MRS. HUNT IS WEDNESDAY
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Emma Hunt, 51, Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. She died Sunday in the Wynnewood hospital following a short illness. Services were in the Davis First Baptist church with Rev. N.N. Antonson officiating, assisted by Rev. Jim House.
Mrs. Hunt was born May 1, 1905, in Murray county. She lived in Tennessee as a small girl and has lived in Davis for the past 45 years. Her husband, John Hunt, who she married in 1924, preceded her in death in 1951. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Davis.
Survivors include three sons, J. T. and Dale of Davis, and A. L. of Morenci, Ariz; one daughter, Carolyn Joyce of the home; two brothers, Lon Willis of Oklahoma City and Dick Willis of Long Beach, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Odell Jones of El Dorado, Okla., Mrs. Theo Smith of Montana, and Mrs. Gladys Walker of Dalhart, Tex.; one half-sister, Mrs. Lena Tate of Dallas, Tex., and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Pat Rawls, Bill Williams, Claud Hunt, Foster Thomas, Elmer Cherry, and Price Hunt.
Interment was in the Green Hill cemetery at Davis with the Bahner Funeral Home being in charge of the arrangements.
