Services for Donnie I. McClure, 74, of New Orleans, La, were held May 1 with Rev. Bob Brown officiating. Burial followed in Fielder Cemetery.
Born in Gilmer she resided in New Orleans for ten years and in Lufkin for five years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lake Forest Baptist Church in New Orleans, La.
Survivors include one daughter Mrs. Evelyn Gianelloni of New Orleans, La: three sisters, Mrs.Oleta Peavy, Mrs. Verdie Smith and Mrs. Stella Ellis, all of Lufkin; three brothers, O.B. Murphy of Beaumont, A.T. Murphy of Houston, and Jim Murphy of Lufkin; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Helen Brown in 1971.
Pallbearers were David Murphy, Charles Murphy, Gary Allen Murphy, Henry Marino, Robert Charles Murphy, and Mike Murphy.
