Mary Elizabeth Miles, 91, Agency, Mo., died Friday, March 1, 1991, at a St. Joseph health-care center.
Mary E. Miles was born on May 13, 1899 to Elmer Eli and Emma Angie (Gartin) Deakins near Frazier, Mo. where she attended school and grew up.
On September 18, 1937, she was united in marriage to Clifton A. Miles. After their marriage, they farmed near Agency where they made their home. Her husband preceded her in death in 1970. She was also preceded in
death by two sons. Forest E. Holt and Vemon R. Holt and one sister, Loie McCray.
Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gower, the Rebekah Lodge of Agency and the Frazier Community Club.
She is survived by: one step-daughter, Wilma Neal of Conway, Mo.; four grandchildren, Verlene, Cheryl, Luan and Bobby Joe; seven great-grandchildren, Kelly, Shawn, Paul, Dana, Sarah Beth, Chris and Brad; one great-great-granddaughter, Kealee; three step-grandchildren, Lynn, Lane and Lanae; nine step-great-grandchildren-, Lovella, Ladell, Aaron, Brad, Jason, Jacob, Isaac, Calin and Jaron; four step-great-great-grandchildren, Chris, Jennifer, Rebecca and Teddy; two nieces, Virginia Isaacs and Emma Bottiger; one nephew, Edward McCray; other relatives and many friends.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Gower. Burial was at Frazier, Mo., Cemetery.
