Johnson of IL. Fred Helsley, Joseph's brother, born abt 1860 is also a member of their household. Joseph and Hattie had Lura b1878, Alma b.1881; Cara b1884 all born in MO; Between 1884 and 1887 they moved to El Monte Township (Duarte), Los Angeles, CA. They had the following children in CA: Cala b1888, Infant son 1 d1890, Harry b1891; Geraldine b1896, Infant son 3 d1900. He resided in Duarte until his death, August 14, 1919 (Flu Epidemic).
