Luther Norman of Austin, conducted the funeral services, also the Masonic Lodge members had charge of the burial. Among those from a distance were his daughters with their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. H. M. DeGlandon, Mr. and Mrs. John Wier, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Grenwelge, all of Austin.
