Burlington Hawk Eye - April 6, 1933 - Miss Gertrude Klotz, who had spent the greater part of her life here, died Monday morning after a lingering illness.

She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs M. Klotz and was born here.

Surviving are her mother, one brother, M.W. Klotz of Atlanta, GA; and four sisters: Mrs Winifred Butler, Brooklyn, NY; Mrs L.E. Shahan and Mrs Harry Fornare, Chicago; and Miss Florence Klotz, Casper, Wyoming.

Her father and two sisters, Carrie Klotz and Mrs Fred Colton, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home.

She attended Iowa State Teachers college, Cedar Falls and Drake university, Des Moines and was a former teacher in the primary rooms here and at Deming, NM.
