Campobello - Mrs. EMMA ATKINS FISHER, 75, wife of ALEXANDER GOODLETTE FISHER, died at her home in Campobello Route 2 at 2:40 a.m. June 3, 1945, following an illness of 5 months. Mrs. FISHER was a life long resident of Motlow Creek section and was a daughter of the late MASSEY CAPPS and HARRIET PEIGLER ATKINS. She was a member of the Motlow Creek Baptist Church for 50 years. Surviving are her husband, and daughters, Mrs. CLARENCE BELCHER, Misses LEILA, HARRIETT, and MAYBELLE FISHER all of Campobello Route 2; 4 sons, WILLIAM JASPER FISHER of Greer, CLAUDE D. FISHER, of Campobello, JEROME G. FISHER of San Diego, California, and J. BROADUS FISHER of Lyman; also a brother JOSEPH HENRY ATKINS of Campobello; and 2 sisters, Mrs. J. M. FOWLER, and Mrs. JAMES HENRY FARMER of Campobello; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon at 5 at the Motlow Creek Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. WALTER HARRISON. Burial will be in the family plot in the church cemetery. The following nephews ar asked to meet at the church at 4:45 o'clock and serve as active pallbearers; LEROY FISHER, WALTER FOWLER, JOE FOWLER, WALKER FISHER, and MONROE ATKINS. Deacons of the Motlow Creek Baptist CHurch and their wives and members of the Mothers Sunday School Class are asked to meet at the Church at 4:45 o'clock and serve as honorary pallbearers. The body is at the home. At 4 Monday it will be placed in the church to remain until the hour of the service.
