Campobello - Mrs. TEXANNA ATKINS FARMER, 80, widow of JAMES HENRY FARMER, died Monday at 1:20 a.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. RUTH SOUTHER, Campobello Route 2, after one year of declining health. Mrs. FARMER was born and reared in Spartanburg County and was a daughter of MASSEY CAPPS and HARRIET ANN PEIGLER ATKINS. She was a member of the Motlow Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her daughter, she is survivied by two sons, ROY A. FARMER of Greenville and BOYCE FARMER of Campobello; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. J. M, FOWLER of Campobello Route 2. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Motlow Creek Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. JOHN TOLLISON, J. E. TAYLOR and J. TILLMAN LAKE. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The following grandsons will serve as pallbearers: A. J. WINGO, CHARLES, BROOKS and EARL SOUTHER, HENRY FARMER and HAYNES MORROW. The body is at the home of a son, BOYCE FARMER, in the Motlow section. It will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Petty Funeral Home of Landrum is in charge of arrangements.
