Campobello - Funeral services for JOSEPH HENRY ATKINS, 85, of Motlow Creek Church Section who died Saturday, will be conducted Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Motlow Creek Baptist Church by the Revs. JOHN TOLLISON and W. Y. HENDERSON. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be JOE and HUBERT FOWLER, S. D. ATKINS, CHARLES SOUTHER, GLENN ATKINS, and DONALD FISHER. Mr. ATKINS was a retired Orchardist and Civil Engineer, and former Teacher and Postmaster. Surviving are: his wife , Mrs. MATTIE STAGGS ATKINS; six daughters, Misses ALMA and ORNA ATKINS of Campobello, Mrs. H.H HIGH of Campobello, Mrs. W. E. MANN of Lowndesville, Mrs. R. D. McLEDON of Timmonsville and Mrs. BUCK MAYNOR of Gaffney; two sons, HARVEY and FRED of Campobello; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. FARMER and Mrs. J. M. FOWLER of Campobello; 10 grandchildren. The body is at the home and will be placed in the Church today at 2:30 p.m. Deacons of the Church and others will be the honorary pallbearers and members of the Young Women's Adult Sunday School Class will be flower girls. Petty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
