Frank was the oldest child born to John Robert (Bob) Johnson and Ima Lee Jennings Johnson. He was born in the Guys Store Community, Leon County, Texas.

He and three of his brothers served during WWII. Cpl Frank Johnson, son of Bob and Ima Johnson, Rt 3 Box 209 Crockett, attended Wesley Chapel School. Entered Army 1942, trained at Camp Hulen TX. Served in EAME. Awarded the Purple Heart, CGM, ET Ribbon, Combat Infantry Badge and 5 Battle Stars. Wounded in Italy, 1945. Discharged in 1945.

He married Lucille Davis and they lived all their married lives in Wesley Chapel where they raised three children: Sharon Dawn, Joseph Anthony Rene, and Donna Jan Johnson. Uncle Frank was a member of The Church of God.

His grandparents were William Morgan and Sarah Frances Bowen Jennings; and William Allen and Henrietta Story Johnson.

All of his nieces and nephews loved to visit him and Aunt Lucille, they were very special folks, and will always be remembered and missed.
