Samuel Ruben "Ruby" Littrell, 97, of Loveland died on October 13, 1985 at North Shore Manor Health Care Center. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Chapel at North Shore Manor with Dan Marthe officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bakersfield, California. Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home is in charge of cremation and arrangements. He was a retired farmer. He was born on October 7, 1888 in Green Forest, Arkansas to George Washington and Mahaley Amanda (Myers) Littrell. He married Ethel Chloe Dickens on December 10, 1910 in Cedar Vale, Kansas. She died on April 16, 1971. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Helen Eliza Peterson, on May 11, 1981. He is survived by his daughter, Reta Leona Metzger of Long Beach, California; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
