Ross Columbus Littrell, 73, a retired farmer, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma died on January 17, 1977 at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville. He was born on February 1, 1903 in Green Forest, Arkansas to George Washington and Nancy Delcine (Lawrence) Littrell. He married Alta Lorene Grunden on September 17, 1926 in Winfield. She preceded him in death on September 17, 1964. He married Marion Higgs on November 1, 1967 in Jay, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Henry Ernest Littrell, James Nealie Littrell, Joseph Otis Littrell, and Ordie Corbert Littrell; and his half brothers, John Howard Littrell and William Emelis Littrell. He is survived by his wife, Marion; his sons, Kenneth George Littrell of Liberty, Missouri and Doyle Wayne Littrell of Burden; his daughter, Hazel Goode of Independence; his brother, Claud Edward Littrell of Cedar Vale; his half brother, Samuel Ruben "Ruby" Littrell of Sunset, Missouri; his sister, Eva Idella "Della" Hamon of Hollister, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held today at Miles Funeral Home with Rev. Jess Goss officiating. Burial was in Cedar Vale Cemetery.
