James Nealie Littrell, 67, of Winfield died yesterday at his home. The son of George Washington and Nancy Delcine (Lawrence) Littrell, he was born on July 6, 1894 in Green Forest, Arkansas and had lived in Winfield for 34 years. He served in the Army during World War I. He married Bertha Davis on February 5, 1921 in Denver, Arkansas. He had operated a dairy and retired 2 years ago. He was a member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his wife; his daughters, Mabel Glorine Kittelson and Patricia Ann Sallee, both of Winfield; his mother, Nancy Littrell of Winfield; his brothers, Henry Ernest Littrell of Torrance, California, and Ross Columbus Littrell, Ordie Corbert Littrell, and Claud Edward Littrell, all of Cedar Vale; his sister, Eva Idella "Della" Hamon of Hollister, Missouri; his half brothers, Samuel Ruben "Ruby" Littrell of Bakersfield, California and John Howard Littrell of Long Beach, California; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Morris Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
