Kirkendall, Elmer L-84, of Camas Valley, died at a Roseburg nursing home December 4, 1978. He was born May 5, 1894, at Camas Valley, Oregon and has lived all of his life in Camas Valley. Survivors include 3 sisters; Mrs. Ethel Schmidt of Camas Valley, Mrs Leta Pullen of Deadwood, Oregon, and Mrs Milo Claughton, Sr., and 1 brother, Robert L. both of Camas Valley; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 6, 1978, at 2 P.M. in the First United Methodist Church in Camas Valley, with Sunny Wafer officiating. Private interment will follow at the Martindale Cemetery in Camas Valley. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, these may be left at LONG AND SHUKLE CHAPEL or the Church.
