Mrs. Zipporah Skeeles, 78, who made her home with her, daughter, Mrs. Maxine Close of 229 16th st NW, died Friday afternoon in Aultman Hospital following a cerebral hemorrhage.
The widow of E. M. skeeles, she came to Canton 18 years ago from Sherrodsville where she and her late husband had operated the Skeeles Drug and Confectionery for 19 years. She was a member of the Calvary Methodist Church at Sherrodsville and Rebekah Lodge at Dellroy.
Surviving in additon to her daughter, are a son Thomas W. Skeeles of North Canton; three sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Wilson of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Olive Capper and Mrs. Alice Dayhuff of Canton, and a brother, Fred Page of Navarre. Her parents were the late Jesse and Susan Page.
The Rev. Dean DeVeny will conduct funeral services Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Reed Funeral home. Burial will be in Roxford Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday 7 to 9 p.m.
