DAVID Y. (Yant) PAGE, 80 RD 2, Dover, (Columbia), retired employee of the Columbia Firebrick Co. and resident here of 40 years. died Sunday at 5:30 pm in Union Hospital after an illness of three weeks. A native of Sherrodsville, he was the son of the late Jesse and Susan Creager Page. Mr. Page worked as kiln fireman at the Columbia firm 20 years before retiring in 1942. His wife Sarah Leggett Page, died seven years ago. Surviving are a daughter and three sons. Mrs. Dorothy Pongrat of RD 1, East Sparta, Joshua and Robert of Dover and Laverne of RD 2, Dover. Four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Alice Dayhuff, Mrs. Ollie Capper, Mrs. Zipporah Skeeles and Frank Page of Canton, Mrs. Ella Wilson of Turley, OK. and Fred of Navarre; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by two daughters, a son and three brothers.

Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 pm in the Lewis Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald V. Klohr of the Strasburg E & R church officiating.

Interment will be in Dover Burial Park. Friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
