He was born in Sherrodsville and lived in Navarre since 1926. He was a retired auto mechanic. He and his wife observed their 62nd. wedding anniverary April 12.
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Anna N. Page; two daughters, Mrs. Maurice (Kathryn) Basler of Massillon and Mrs. John (Gwendolyn) Allan of West Lebanon; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the Gordon-Shaidnagle-Hollinger funeral home in Massillon, with
Keith Houser, minister of Christian education at St. John's United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday for an hour prior to the service.
