DEATH CLAIMS MRS. DAYHUFF,
CENTENARIAN

Mrs. Alice Dayhuff observed he 100th birthday Sep 17, died Sunday nigh in the Fern Wanda nursing home.
Born in Sherrodville, she had lived in Canton for the last 27 years coming here from Uhrichsville. She was a member of the Canton South Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Toy of 1139 Bedford Ave. SW, with whom she had lived; four sons, Dallas of Dover, William of Canton. and Jesse and Eugene Dayhuff of Massillon; a brother Fred Page of Navarre; 18 grandchildren; 57 great-grandvchildren and 40 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband David H. Dayhuff and a daughter Mrs. Cora E. Gresser.
Private services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Reed funeral home with Rev. C. Jerome Carmichael officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
