NOEL STEADMAN BROWN, 64, husband of Mrs. RUTH DAVIS BROWN of 110 Old Farm Road, Moore Route 9, died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday in General Hospital after a long illness. Native of Marshall, NC; retired textile worker and carpenter, member of Hearon Circle Freewill Baptist Church; son of the late SWAN JEFFERSON and THEODOSIA WORSHAM BROWN. Also surviving daughter, Mrs. DOROTHY VAUGHN; sisters, Mrs. OTIS JONES, Mrs. LOIS McABEE of Spartanburg, Mrs. LOLA REVIS of Chicago; five grandchildren. Services at 3 Thursday at Hearon Circle Freewill Baptist Church by the Revs. JOHNNY BULLMAN and ROBERT H. BARNETT. Burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers: GENE SHERBERT, EDWARD BRYANT, TOMMY NOX, CHARLES GILBERT, LONNIE PARHAM and CALVIN COOK. Body is in church at 2 Thursday. Family to receive friends 7 to 9 tonight at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel.
