Native of Madison County, NC; daughter of the late SWAN JEFFERSON and THEODOSIA WORSHAM BROWN; member of the First Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving: daughter, Mrs. RUE GILLIAM of Spartanburg; sisters Mrs. LOIS McABEE of Spartanburg and Mrs. LOLA REVIS of Wheeling, Illinois; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers, JAMES CONNOLY RAINWATER, Rev. ED BRYANT, ED JONES, CURTIS ELLEDGE, ROLAND McABEE, and EDWARD CROWE. Interment in the Sunset Memorial Park. J. F. Floyd Mortuary.
