Medina Lillian Awalt (Jerry) of Austin, Tx., was born January 2, 1914. She passed away February 9, 2005 peacefully with her great grandson and wife David and Kristen by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband J. C. Awalt, toddler son James Edward Voight, her parents, 2 sisters and 7 brothers.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Clyde Smith of Austin two granddaughters and their husbands Jerry Lynn and Roger Hullum of Bastrop, Tx., Judy and Steve Jung of Spicewood, Tx., great grand children David and Kristen Hullum of Pflugerville, Tx., Summer Jung, and Daniel Jung of Abilene, Tx.

She will be affectionately remembered for being the "watchdog" of the neighborhood and her spunky wit. She now rests in the arms of her Jesus.

David Jung officiated at the service.

She was also known by her family as Dina and by her many nieces and nephews as aunt Dina.
