Forest A, "Skeet" Daugherty, age 91 of Austin passed away Sunday June 1, 2003.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Lee and Rebecca Coleman Daugherty and his beloved wife, of 54 years Mable Edith Voight Daugherty. Also 6 brothers, Rufus, Vard, Bailey, George, Roy and Alvin Daugherty and 2 sisters, Nancy Pichot and Ada Baccus.


He is survived by his wife Dorothy Shively Daugherty; sister Medina Awalt; stepsons, David and Ronnie Ragland all of Austin; step grandchildren Ashi and Hali Ragland, Brittani Kleen and Gage Troxel; and numberous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Tuesday and services were held Wednesday at Wilke-Clay-Fish with Brother Bob Griffith and Brother Ron Danley officiating, Internment was at Capitol Memorial Park.

Palbearers were Gary Troxell, Terry Kleen, Scott Ragland, Jimmy Daugherty, Edgar Daugherty and Ralph Baccus.
