Mr. Woodruff died at 12:05A.M. at St John Hospital following an illness of one year.
Mr Woodruff was born in Sangamon County, the son of Thomas & Anna Clark Woodruff.
Mr. Woodruff also opersted a drug store in Rochester for many years. He was a 50-year member of the I.O.O.F. lodge at Rochester.
Survived by his wife Nettie, two daughters: Mrs Melvina Stewart of Phx. AZ. and Mrs. Mary Baldwin of Springfield, one son Vernon Woodruff of Rochester; one -half sister Bessie Kinny and one-half brother Archie Saultz both of Havana Il.
