CHRISTIAN AUGUST LUDVIG CHRISTENSEN (9 yrs) b. April 30, 1885, Nygade 12, Sankt Mortens sogn, Randers,Denmark was the first of seven children born to Loise Lisette Dorthea Augusta Walther and Lars Christian Christensen.
Christian was christened on Nov. 22, 1885 in Sanki Mortens Kirke (Church) in Randers Denmark.
He was 4 years old when his mother, Loise (Louise ), left Denmark to come to South Dakota to marry Lars Christian Christensen.
The story goes that he became ill before the trip and stayed behind in Denmark to be cared for by his maternal grandmother, Augusta Margrethe Behrens in Randers, Denmark. He never made it to the United States. He died July 17, 1894, Tøjhushavevej 14, Sankt Mortens sogn, Randers, DK at the age of nine.
