Claribel Abrams, 85, of Greenwood, died Friday, May 25, 2001, at her home.

Born April 17, 1916, in Rushville, daughter of Luther and Mattie (Stout) Wyrick. Married Walter Abrams on June 19, 1933; he died on Jan. 30, 1976.

Survivors include four sons, Walter Abrams of Rushville, Terry Abrams of Arlington, Marion Abrams of Connersville and Randy Abrams of Lapel; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Klump of Connersville, Carolyn McFall of Greensburg, Mrs. Donald (Sharon) Walker of Rushville and Marjorie Walker of Shelbyville; one sister, Mrs. Carolyn Robbins of Beanblossom; and several grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two sons, two daughters, two sisters and one brother.

Lived for several years in Connersville and many years in Rushville.

Moster & Cox Mortuary, Rushville; Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating.

Burial will be in the East Hill Cemetery, Rushville.
