Randy L. Abrams, 50, of Shelbyville, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital and Health Care in Indianapolis.
Born June 5, 1957 in Rushville, he was the son of Walter an Claribel (Wyrick) Abrams, both deceased.
Mr. Abrams had lived in Rushville the past few months but grew up in Rushville. He had worked at Park 100 Foods and then at Blue River Fleet in Shelbyville. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the mid 1970s.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy "Lynnette" (Mrs. Dan) Barnes of Hazelgreen, Ala.; three brothers, Walter "Junior" Abrams of Rushville, Terry Abrams of Arlington and Marian Allen Abrams of Connersville; four sisters, Ruby Klump of Connersville and Margie Walker, Sharon Walker and Sue McFall, all of Rushville; and two granddaughters.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Abrams and Earl "Sonny" Abrams, and one sister, Dorothy Pennington.
A private service for family will be held at Freeman Family Funeral Home, Frazier Chapel in Morristown. Cremation will follow.
