We are part owners of the house he built in Boones Creek, Tennessee. Of his twelve siblings, none had a middle name except maybe the youngest. Jesse was born in 1760. People whose middle name is Hiter were named after the Rev. William Y. Hiter born in 1778 referenced in the onlinebook Virginia Baptist Ministers, by Rev. J. B. Jeter, D.D. 1859.
