Milton Low Dies At His Home Here
Funeral services will be held from the Seydler Funeral home Sunday at 3 p.m. for Milton David Low, who died at his home at 1204 St. Paul, Friday at 4 p.m.
The Rev. M. T. Jinkens, former pastor here and now of aHpuston Baptist church, and the Rev. J.Earl Bryant, pastor of th First Baptist Church, will conduct the last rites with burial to take place in the City cem.
Mr. Low was born on October 12, 1880, in the Denton Creek community to William David and Ellen Baker Low, natives of Gonzales county.
He was first married to Carrie Eggleston who preceded him in death in 1905, and then to her sister, Ola Mae Eggleston in October, 1908, who died on December 2, 1952.
A rancher and farmer for many years, he is survived by three sons, Kennon of Gonzales; Eugene of Waelder; and Howard of Carlsbad, N.M. and three daughters, Miss Almeda Low, Mrs.Earl (Eva) Gray, this city; and Mrs. Bill (Ellen) Cunningham of San Antonio.A son, Clifton Junus Low, and a daughter, Mrs. Tommy Cox, preceded their father in death in 1936 and 1937 respectively.
Also survuare 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
