Dee Devon BIGGS, 81, Macy, died at 5 p.m. Friday at his home following an illness of about one year. He was born Aug. 11, 1892 near Akron to Benjamin and Armitta AUSPAUGH BIGGS and had resided most of his life in Miami and Fulton counties. He was married July 27, 1929 in Monon to Fern J. PATCHETT, who survives. He retired from the Nickel Plate railroad in 1961. He was a World War I veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Manitou VFW post. Surviving with the wife are a son, Devon [BIGGS], of Deedsville; and three grandchildren. He was the last of a family of 14 children. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. James O'DELL officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday.
