Mrs. Pearl Jane (BIGGS) DUSH was born in Rochester, Ind. on Oct 20, 1875, and departed this life on Thursday, June 1, 1950 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John W. SYLCOX in Flat River, aged 74 years 7 months 11 days. On February 8, 1904, she was united in marriage to George W. DUSH, who preceded her in death on January 25, 1930. They were the parents of eleven children, three of whom are deceased. The surviving children are: John W. DUSH of Vancouver, Wash., Francis E. DUSH of Chicago, Ill., George DUSH and (Pearl) Mrs. John W. SYLCOX of Flat River; (Dora) Mrs. E. J. LUNSFORD of Lonedale, Mo., (Helen) Mrs. A. WRIGHT of Esther, (Jessie) Mrs. H. L. GILLETTE of Elvine, Route 1, and (Ruth) Mrs. L. B. BARTLEY of Chicago, Ill. She leaves eighteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the Sylcox residence, conducted by Rev. K. H. Ladman. Interment was in the I. O. O. F. Cemetery at St. Francois, with Sparks Service.
