Jimmie Teas (West-Harvey) was born on 08 May 1876 to Thomas Jesse Teas and Sarah Jane Cage (both parents are buried on the old home place Teas Family Cemetery near Lockhart in Caldwell County, Texas).
1st Married to Robert Milam West (1861-1900) on July 06, 1898 in Caldwell County, Texas (REF: Vol. I, Page 426 Caldwell Co. Texas). The had one daughter Myrtis Emma West on 28 July 1899. Robert died on August 9, 1900 and is buried in the TEAS family cemetery on private property on the old homestead near Lockhart, Tx. Robert Milam West was son of early pioneers of Ft Bend County, Texas: Peter Lawley West and Virena Clementine Gill-West.
NOTE: Robert Milam West and Jimmie Teas-West were my maternal great grandparents and their daughter Myrtis Emma West-Shelton (who married Mancel Elbert Shelton) was my maternal grandmother.
2nd Married to William James Harvey on August 30,1908 and the had two sons: William James "Red" Harvey and Weldon W Harvey (who were 1/2 brothers to my maternal grandmother Myrtis Emma West-Shelton). Note: I have the original marriage license from Mrs Jimmie West and William Harvey (Jimmie Teas' 2nd marriage), but do not have the original of her 1st marriage (my direct line).
Note: The Texas Death Index has her listed as Mrs Will Harvey, but has mistranscribed the death year as 1929 instead of 1928. The obit says she died on Wednesday (and on April 18, 1928 the 18th fell on Wednesday and her headstone also states April 18, 1928 - so the Tx Death Index was apparently mistranscribed as 1929 versus 1928 which is correct).
