Jesse Thomas Teas was son of Samuel B Teas and Eveline/Evoline Blackwell (aka "Aunt Ninie"). Jesse was born in the Lockhart/Seawillow area of Caldwell County, Texas.

Married Sarah Jane Cage in Caldwell County, Texas and they had at least 11 known children. Sarah Jane Cage was daughter of Benjamin Franklin Cage, SR & Mary Ann Cayce-Baker whom was a widow of D. Davis D. Baker when she married Benjamin Franklin Cage.

Note: Jesse Thomas Teas and Sarah Jane Cage-Teas were my 2nd great grandparents. One of their daughters: Jimmie Teas and her 1st husband Robert Milam West were my great grandparents (and their only child, Myrtis Emma West who married my grandfather Mancel Elbert Shelton were my maternal grandparents).
