JACKSON CENTER

Jackson Center, 85, resident of Poe Mill village, died at the home 11 Talley Street, Wednesday afternoon at 6:30 o'clock.

Mr. Center had been a resident of Greenville for 29 years and has many friends in that community who will learn with regret of his death. His wife preceded him to the grave several months ago.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. A.W. Fowler, Mrs. Stafford Ballew and Miss Nancy Center, Greenville, two sons, H.H. Center and J. Center, Greenville; one brother, Dave Center, Taylors; besides 26 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Center will be held from the Camp Creek Church Friday morning at 11 o'clock and the interment will be made in the Church cemetery.

Further announcements of funeral arrangements will be made from the Jones-McAfee funeral home.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. R.W. Fowler, Mrs. Stafford Ballew and Miss Nancy Center, Greenville; two sons, H.H. Center and J. Center of Greenville; one brother, Dave Center, Taylors, besides 26 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The following will serve as pallbearers: P.A. Fowler, Joe Center, Woodrow Floyd, Paul Miller, Galloway Miller and C.E. Center.
