ELVA CHRISTENA YERGENSEN, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, died Jan. 24, 1992 after a short illness in Salt Lake City.

Born December 13, 1921 in Elsinore, Utah, the daughter of Christian Gregersen and Christena Nelsen Gregersen.

Survived by husband, Glen Yergensen; children, Steven Yergensen, Dickinson, Texas; Julie Yergensen Frampton, Sandy; and Dan Yergensen, Visalia, Calif.; grandchildren, Stephanie Noelle, Sarah Andrea, David, Brandon, Danielle, Anthony, Kirsten and Eric; great-grandchildren, Heather, Nicole and Jennifer, Sisters, Verna Thornton and Leah Utley, Richfield.

Lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she touched many young hearts and lives with her 20 years of service in the Primary. One of her greatest joys was playing bridge. She was in many bridge clubs in bother Cedar city and Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 27, 1992, at 1 p.m., at the MacKay cottonwood mortuary Chapel, 4670 South Highland Drive, where friends may call Sunday evening, 6-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
