HIRAM HENRY OGLINE, the 4th youngest of Phillip Ogline Jr. and Elizabeth Emert OGLINE'S ten (10) children. Also the grandson of Christian and Kathryn EMERT, Phillip and Catherine MILLER OGLINE all from Somerset County, PA. Born in a log cabin set in the woods in what's now known as Freidens where State Hwy 219 extension frstarting @ SR 601 in Somerset to Johnstown is now (in the year 2010) situated over.
Husband and Father. United in marriage with the former Harriett McGinnis in the year of the lord 1866. Hiram like his brothers Adam, David & Josiah choose to work the family farm with their parents rather than follow brothers' Elias, George & Solomon into joining the union army to serve during the War of the Rebellion (Civil War).
Hiram & Harriett OGLINE would be blessed with the birth of seven (7) children. Unfortunately for his wife and children, Hiram died young at the age of 29.
