W. A. Gamel

STANTON--William August Gamel, 46, of Midland, died Sunday morning in a Midland hospital after a long illness.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church in Stanton with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton under direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home.

Mr. Gamel was born Aug. 26, 1929, in Junction, and was a farmer. He was married to Velma Butler April 26, 1956, in Houston.

Survivors include his widow; two sons, Charlie Wayne Gamel and Keith Wade Gamel, both of Midland; two daughters, Sally Ann Gamel of Midland and Mrs. Debbie Henderson of Midland; his mohter, Mrs. Leathy Gamel of Big Spring; four brothers, Alton Gamel, J. W. Gamel and Ben Gamel, all of Midland, and Leo Gamel of Webster, Mass.; and three sisters, Mrs. B. D. Day of Big Spring, Mrs. Fred Martin of Midland and Mrs. Lester Gray of Grand Prairie."
