Dora was the daughter of Michael Smith Coffey and Nancy Anastasia Kerby-Coffey.

Dora married Granville Speck Wright on September 10, 1905 in Tarpley, Bandera County, Texas.

To this union were born: John Clifton Wright, Granville Clay Wright, Lenna Marie Wright-Walker, Smith Coffey Wright, Raymond Eugene "Spot" Wright, and William Clyde Wright.

Dora died from cardiac failure in the Purple Hills Nursing Home. Dora had owned and operated the Purple Hills Nursing Home during the 1950-1960's.
