JONESVILLE — Funeral services for A. C. Ewing, 83, of Jonesville will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church near Jonesville with the Rev. G. C. Chance, the Rev. Murrell Ewing, the Rev. Paul Prewitt and the Rev. C. G. Weeks officiating.

Burial will follow in the Nolley Cemetery at Jena under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Mr. Ewing died Wednesday in Catahoula Parish Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Mildred Masters and Mrs. Yvonne Masters, both of Monroe, Mrs. Marie Carrico of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Jean Hale of El Dorado, Ark., Mrs. Ethel Patton, Mrs. Peewee Wascom, Miss Golda Ewing, all of Jonesville; two sons, the Rev. T. E. Ewing of Lake Charles and Bobby Ray Ewing of Jonesville; three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Richey of Manifest, Mrs. Henrietta Richey of Alexandria, and Mrs. Louisiana Gillcrest [sic Gilcrease] of Winnfield; two brothers, Jessie Ewing and Charlie Ewing, both of Manifest; 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The body will be at the church until time for services.
