Services for Ethel Ewing Patten will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Russell Hathcock and Murrell Ewing officiating. Burial will be in Heard Cemetery in Manifest under direction of Young's.

Patten, 77, of Sandy Lake Community in Jonesville died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, in her residence.

She was a homemaker and a member of Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A. C. and Ida Ewing; one brother, the Rev. Tom Ed Ewing; and one sister, Mildred Masters.

Survivors include two sons, David Mancil Patten of Austin, Texas, and Wayne Patten of Franklinton; two daughters, Diane Morace of Ridgecrest and Sandy Cooper of Gordo, Ala.; one brother, Bobby Ewing of Jonesville; five sisters, Marie Carrico of Baker, Georgia Wascom, Jean Hale and Lu Ewing, all of Jonesville, and Yvonne Masters of Monroe; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. today until time of services Sunday in the church.
