Cleona N. Poore
Zurich--Cleona N. Poore, 62, died Sunday at a Havre hospital. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Gildford with burial to follow in Gildford cemetery.
Born at Libby, she attended schools in Gildford and married Carlton Poore in 1942 at Gildford. They moved to Zurich in 1944, where they operated a local grocery store.
Survivors include her husband at Zurich; two sons, Merle, San Diego, Calif. and Larry, Chinook; three daughters, Marcella Epler, Harlem, and Dora Jendro and Carmin Poore, both of Zurich; three brothers, Vern Crites, Harold Crites and Richard Crites, all of Washington state; six sisters, Lois Olson, LaRena Stewart and June Yuso, all of Havre, Dorothy Kidd, Gildford, Doreen Rutter, Duluth, Minn., and Jeanne Johnston, Vaughn; and eight grandchildren.
